PRECISION TURNED PARTS FROM LACHER – A GOOD PIECE OF WORK

We produce precision turned parts up to 40 mm diameter in medium and large series in a multi-shift operation. As well as elaborate testing methods, we also offer surface treatments such as nickel plating, silver plating, gold plating, passivation, anodizing and hardening or tempering. Depending on the requirements, machining steel, high-grade steel or brass alloys, as well as chrome, aluminium, copper and bronze alloys are used.

WORM GEARS – THE BEST TRANSMISSION

Reliable and exact transmission is possible using metallic worm gears. We implement complex solutions, such as cylindrical gear teeth, according to your requirements. In series production we use camera inspection and eddy-current crack detection. Quality "Made in Germany" – Quality "Made by Lacher" in Pforzheim.

Expansion of inhouse grindery

With the most modern manufacturing equipment, we produce in Pforzheim at a top quality level more than 350 million precision parts (turned parts, worms, gear wheels and pinions) per year for customers throughout the world.

The investment in new grinding machines allows finishing of precision parts in serial production. Quality up to the finishing touch!

Centerless through-feed grinding

Centerless grinding is perfectly suited for grinding large series e.g. bolts, pins, shafts or pistons with the same diameter at a high level of productivity and with economic efficiency. Despite of a large material removal there is a high accuracy of shape.

Centerless plunge grinding

Workpieces with contours can be handled in one step and the different outer diameters of the workpiece are simultaneously grinded.

Grinding between centers

In the external cylindrical grinding process between centers, complex parts with one or more diameters can be grinded. By using CNC grinding technology the production of high-precison parts is possible.

Honing

Honing is a machining process that produces optimal functional surface finish of bores. Workpieces up to 12 mm diameter can be honed. At Lacher we use modern technology. Each precision part is 100 % checked at the machine.
